JESUS: THE MINISTER OF THE HEAVENLY SANCTUARY

We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the

Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle.

HEBREWS 8:1-2

Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father to be your Minister of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Jesus is there to help you. Because you are in Christ and He indwells you (see John 14:20), you are as close to the Father as is Jesus. So don't worry about judgment, for Jesus has taken your punishment. Now your concerns are to please the Father and to worship Him. Do that through Jesus, for He will present your requests to the Father. Because the Father loves Jesus and accepts Him, you have immediate access through the Son; He is your Minister of the Heavenly Sanctuary.

Father, I am not worthy to enter Your presence, but in Jesus I stand

perfect before You. My words are inadequate, but in Jesus my speech is

perfect. My prayers are filled with doubts, but in Jesus I pray boldly.

You have instant access to the Father through Jesus, who is your Minister of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Jesus is glorified when you pray through Him, for this is the fulfillment of His sacrifice. The Father is glorified by your worship, for that is the reason He sent Jesus to die for you.

Jesus, some of my prayers are selfish, and some are surrounded

with fears. Search my true heart, and present those prayers to

the Father that He should hear. Present my prayers in the way they

should be offered. Because You are my Minister of the Heavenly

Sanctuary, I pray with confidence. Amen.
