THE HOLY SPIRIT: THE HELPER

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will

teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 14:26

The Holy Spirit is the Helper sent by Jesus for your assistance. Because Jesus couldn’t remain in His physical body on Earth, He sent the Holy Spirit to indwell you. He can help you overcome sin and live godly. He can help you understand Scripture and give you power to live by its principles (John 14:26). He can help you intercede to the Father so that your prayers will be answered (Romans 8:26-27). He can guide your daily life and help you walk in righteous paths (Galatians 5:16). If you need help in your Christian life, call on the Helper today.

Holy Spirit, I need You this day. I am weak; strengthen my will

to follow You. I am limited; help me live above my weaknesses.

I need Your help in every area of my life.

The Holy Spirit is your Helper. Even though He has many titles, “Helper” was Jesus’ favorite name for Him because it reflects what He does for us. The Holy Spirit helps people become

Christians; then He helps them live godly lives. He helps them in Christian service. No matter what your need, call on the Holy Spirit today. He will help you.

Holy Spirit, I bow humbly, asking You for help. I need Your power to

overcome temptation. I need Your light to understand Scriptures. I need

Your guidance to walk the straight and narrow path. I need Your

wisdom to solve my problems. I need Your presence to enrich

my life and give me new purpose to live today. Amen.
