THE FATHER: THE LIVING FATHER

As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father,

so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.

JOHN 6:57

The Lord is the Living Father. All idols are lifeless images and are often carved from stone or wood; they neither have life nor give life. Idols are nothing more than the desires of their maker. But the Father is alive in Heaven and has great desires for you today. Buddha, Mohammed and all creators of false religions have died, but the Living Father will exist forever to give you eternal life. Will you receive it? The Lord is the Living Father. He did not have to create life. He is life. He created every living thing in the universe. The Living Father gives spiritual life to those who call on Him and believe in Him.

O Lord, I tend to take my life for granted, except when I get sick or am

threatened. Help me find meaning in my life, and give me happiness.

The Lord is your Living Father who gave life to Adam and, through the continuous miracle of birth, gave life to you. He originally blew breath into Adam, who then became a living soul (see Genesis 2:7); so He can breathe new spiritual life into you every day. The Living Father can make this a wonderful day if you will let Him.

O Living Father, I know that both my physical life and spiritual

life come from You. I am grateful for another day to live for You.

May my life glorify You today. Amen.
