JESUS: THE SEED OF THE WOMAN

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed

and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

GENESIS 3:15

Jesus is the Seed of the Woman who judged Satan. After Adam and Eve sinned, God promised them a seed (a child) who would judge the serpent who tempted them to disobedience. Their first child, Cain, was not the one who would crush the serpent's head. After many centuries, Jesus was born to the virgin Mary, the Seed of the Woman. Jesus was the promised Head Crusher. If you are tempted to sin as were Adam and Eve, don't give in to the Evil One. Call on Jesus for help. Because He crushed the head of the serpent at the Cross, Jesus can save you in your hour of temptation.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your victory on Calvary over

Satan. I need Your help today. I trust Your power to help

me overcome temptation. Give me victory.

Jesus is the Seed of the Woman who, on the cross, crushed Satan's domain (see Colossians 2:14-15). This is a past accomplishment. Look to Him for victory. Now He lives in your heart to give you daily victory over temptation and the power of sin (see 2 Corinthians 2:14). Yield to His power. In the future, Jesus will completely rid the earth of Satan's presence among mankind (see Revelation 20:1-3). Pray for that day to come.

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your past victory over Satan on the cross.

Thank You for Your present deliverance over temptation. I look forward

to the day when I will never be tempted again. May Your kingdom rule

on Earth as You rule in Heaven. Amen.
