Romans 8

The most neglected member of the Godhead is, no doubt, the Holy Spirit! We love talking about the “Fatherhood” of God and His greatness and His love for us. We enjoying hearing about the compassion, the miracles and ministry of Jesus Christ, the Son. And for sure, we should never forget nor neglect neither of Them! But so often, pastors and church teachers and leaders, appear as if they are afraid to talk much about the Holy Spirit because someone might get a little crazy or something.

But honestly, there is no way we can enjoy the full blessings of the believer’s experience without believing and receiving the person and provisions of the Holy Spirit every day and every moment of our lives. They tell us that Oswald Chamber’s life’s verse was Luke 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

In Acts 1, just before Jesus left His disciples and ascended into heaven, His last word to them was to, “wait for the Promise of the Father” (which is the Holy Spirit), before they could began their ministry and task of telling the world about the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Today in Romans 8, we are talking about the provisions and ministry of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit leads us and guides us as we deal with life’s challenges. He gives us discernment between what is false and what is the truth. He is the “Spirit of Wisdom” and God’s divine teacher today that will lead us into all truth and always cause us to glorify Jesus Christ! (John 16:13-15) The Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance the previous things we have learn and have been taught about Jesus when we need them. (John 14:26-27) And His presence in our lives will always mean divine peace!

Right now, ask the Father to open your eyes and heart to His wonderful presence in your life!

God bless!
