JESUS: BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR

I am… the Bright and Morning Star.

REVELATION 22:16

Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star; He shines in darkness to give all people hope. Just before the dawn, a bright star appears on the horizon where the sun will be rising. That last star of the night and the first star of the day is called the morning star. Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star who promises that the dark night of anxiety is almost over. The Bright and Morning Star announces the coming of the sun and a new day with new exciting possibilities.

Lord, my heart is cold; I need the warmth of Your light. You are a bright

Star to my otherwise dark world; you are the Morning Star of hope.

Help me forget my failures and troubles.

Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star. He brightens the dark morning sky after a long period of a black, frustrating night. When you are tired of blindness, look to the eastern horizon; He will come. His light will kindle optimism for a new day. Look to His light and forget the cold night. Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star who is already there in the sky long before you can see Him. He's been there waiting for you. Now the sun is coming; a new day approaches. Don't fear this day; Jesus is here to help you. Get up and go meet your challenges.

Morning Star, be even brighter for me this day; point

me in the right direction. Star of hope, shine some light

over here to give me hope. Amen.
