THE HOLY SPIRIT: MY WITNESS
“Surely even now my witness is in heaven, and my evidence is on high”. (Job 16:19)
“But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us”. (Hebrews 10:15)
The Holy Spirit is the Father’s Witness to your heart. When you don’t know what to do, the
Holy Spirit will let you know the Father’s will and He will tell you how to do it. When you have
doubts, the Holy Spirit will give you assurance. Just as a witness must give an accurate
testimony, so the Holy Spirit will tell you what the Father expects from you.
Holy Spirit, thank You for speaking to my heart. Make me wise enough to follow Your
direction, strong enough to do Your will, and courageous enough to turn from the
allurement of the flesh and the world. Speak; I’m listening.
The Holy Spirit is the Witness to the Father in Heaven. Just as a witness tells what he has heard, the Holy Spirit will tell all of Heaven that He heard you pray to receive Christ. Just as a witness tells the court what he has seen, the Holy Spirit will be your Witness to tell the Father that He saw your faithfulness and good works on Earth. Just as a witness must tell only what he has seen and heard, not adding his opinions to his testimony, the Holy Spirit will accurately tell everyone all about you. Don’t worry about being forgotten or overlooked in Heaven. The Holy Spirit is your Witness, who will testify for you in glory.
Holy Spirit, thank You for living in my life. Thank You for the witness from the Father
of what I should do on earth. Amen.
